Santorini

Listen to The Quackalope Podcast

Today we discuss Santorini by Roxley Games and designed by Gord! Santorini is a re-imagining of the pure abstract conceived over 30 years ago. It’s is an accessible strategy game, that’s simple enough for all age levels while aiming to provide gameplay depth and content for hardcore gamers to explore. The rules are simple. Each turn consists of 2 steps: Move, and Build. A player will win the game if any of there builders reaches the third level. Santorini features variable player powers layered over an otherwise abstract game, with 40 thematic god and hero powers that fundamentally change the way the game is played.
