One Quack at a Time - January 18th
A place to talk about the weekly goings-on in the world of Quackalope. This is the Monday rundown on the tabletop news you’ve missed, the board game goodies coming up, and all of the duck-related sense and nonsense that keeps us up at night churning out content for you good folk!
What You’ve Missed
The Quack-verse continues to chug along on its tracks, so here’s what you missed in the world of YouTube, podcasts, and blogging!
Jesse continues to work through the unplayed board games that haunt his dreams, starting with Spirit Island. He also discusses what makes a game amazing rather than just average, so be sure to see if you agree with his requirements. And finally, Primal: The Awakening gets some love after its unboxing with a two-player game.
Check out the latest from the Quackalope blog!
And if you’ve missed any of the latest podcast episodes, enjoy the latest of the Played It Once and Weekly Quack series!
What’s Quacking This Week
The Quackalope Blog
List day will talk about features from Gamefound that Kickstarter needs to implement.
On Wednesday, Devon will consider the idea of how expansions should affect a game—by completing it or by adding on to it.
Right for You / Wrong for You will dive into the expansion content for Crimson Company, a two-player card game that recently released the Ragnarok card set and the collector’s box.
And Roleplay Friday will either continue the RPG Noob series or explore another aspect of the roleplaying world.
